Offbeet Media and Tech Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates InvestorQ (the "Platform"), a comprehensive financial analysis and trading platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account
- Identity Verification: Date of birth, Social Security Number (last 4 digits or full), address, and government-issued ID information for brokerage account creation
- Financial Information: Bank account details, investment preferences, employment information, and net worth ranges for suitability assessments
- Portfolio Data: Stocks, holdings, and watchlists you choose to track
- Communications: Messages you send to our support team
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform
- Location Data: General geographic location based on IP address
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Authentication Providers: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture
- Financial Institutions: Through Plaid, we may receive account balances, transaction history, and account holder information
- Brokerage Partners: Trading activity, positions, and account status from Alpaca Securities

We Do NOT:

4. Financial Data & Plaid Integration
About Plaid: When you connect your bank account, you are using Plaid's secure service. We never see or store your bank login credentials.
4.1 What Plaid Shares With Us
- Account holder name and masked account numbers
- Account type (checking, savings)
- Account and routing numbers for ACH transfers (with your consent)
- A secure token to initiate authorized transactions
4.2 How We Use Plaid Data
- To verify your bank account ownership
- To enable deposits and withdrawals to/from your brokerage account
- To comply with regulatory requirements
4.3 Your Control
You can disconnect your bank account at any time through the Platform or by contacting us. You can also manage your Plaid connections at my.plaid.com.
5. Brokerage Services & Alpaca
Important: Brokerage services are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC, a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. InvestorQ is not a broker-dealer.
5.1 Information Shared with Alpaca
To open and maintain your brokerage account, we share:
- Full legal name, date of birth, and SSN
- Residential address and phone number
- Employment information and financial status
- Government-issued ID for identity verification
5.2 Trading Data
Alpaca maintains records of all your trading activity, including:
- Orders placed, executed, and canceled
- Positions and portfolio holdings
- Account balances and transaction history
- Deposits and withdrawals
5.3 Regulatory Compliance
As a registered broker-dealer, Alpaca is required to maintain certain records and may share information with regulators (SEC, FINRA) as required by law.

- Trading Records: Retained for a minimum of 6 years per FINRA/SEC requirements
- Tax Documents: Retained for 7 years
- Usage Data: Retained for up to 2 years for analytics purposes
- Support Communications: Retained for 3 years
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
